Victoria Duffield (created January 3, 1995) is just a Canadian singer, performer and dancer. She made it to the Top 6 and was a participant of YTV’s The Following Star season 3. Duffield is now signed to Warner Music Canada.
She launched her debut single about the tag, “Shut Up and Dance” in September 2011, and the followup “Feel” in February 2012. She’s also appeared on several Canadian television series, consisting of popular teen sitcom series Mr. Young.
Early life
Victoria Duffield was created in Abbotsford, British Columbia. She’s two brothers, the earliest being Burkely Duffield from the younger being Mitchell Duffield and the television series House of Anubis. She joined and finished from Yale Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
Career
Duffield auditioned for season 3 of The Following Celebrity, a Canadian reality television program in May 2010. After being among 16 Canadian teens chosen from over 4000, she flew to Toronto to obtain the opportunity to sing for 3 judges and was chosen to be in the Leading 6, along side Isabelle Stern, Mimoza Duot, Madi Amyotte, Brandon Bizior and Diego Gomes. Victoria performed and performed multiple tasks throughout the show, including co-writing singing duets, solo, group tune selections a single, receiving a makeover, and filming a music video. Duffield caused producer Josh Ramsay, lead vocalist of the Canadian pop rock group Marianas Trench. Their cooperation resulted in the song “Fever”. To 14 year old, The Next Star was lost by Duffield on September 26, 2010, Diego Gomes.
2010-2012: Shut Up and Dance
Victoria Duffield introduced her simple “Fever” on iTunes and Disc on September 21, 2010. Her music video can also be on iTunes. On her debut EP, Strategies, she launched two singles “Bam Bam” and “Hello!!!” on iTunes.
Duffield is now signed to Warner Music Canada. Her launching single “Shut Up and Dance” was on iTunes on September 19, 2011. A bilingual English/French version was also released by her for the francophone market including singer Lukay. Too, she’s launched a cover of “Last Christmas”.
In the year 2012, Duffield launched another individual in the album “Shut Up And Dance” called “Feel”. The music video was launched on February, 13th, 2012. Another simple, called “Break My Heart” was launched on June 26, 2012.
Victoria’s newest one and video, a duet with Cody Simpson labelled “They Do Not Understand About Us”, continues to be launched in Canada by November 2012.
Duffield toured to aid “Shut Up and Dance” along side Faber Drive for that “Lost In Paradise Tour”. The tour ended in Trenton, Nova Scotia on December 22, 2012.
2013 – Present: Accelerate
In 2013, Duffield declared that new music was being recorded by her in Los Angeles, California on her second record. The single Than Friends accessible on April, 08, 2014 was launched on June 3, 2014 and preceded her second record Accelerate. ‘More Than Friends’ has up to now reached #49 on the Hot 100 chart that is Canadian.
