Konnie Huq Spouse

Early life and education
Huq was born to Sunni Muslim Bangladeshi parents who’d emigrated to England in the 1960s in Hammersmith, west London. She grew up with Nutun, Rupa and her two older sisters, in Ealing, west London. She was taught at Notting Hill & Ealing High School in London and left school with eight GCSEs Along With A-levels in math, physics and chemistry. Huq studied sciences on her A-Levels, but decided to study economics at Cambridge, Robinson College and graduated from Cambridge University having a 2:1 level.
Early career
When she sang a solo in the age of 14, in 1989, Huq attended on Blue Peter using the National Youth Music Theatre. Prior to the 1992 general election, Huq questioned Labour leader Neil Kinnock for that youngsters’ programme Newsround. She appeared in the exact same year as a contestant on Hits.
