Tracy was born June 10, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. Originally, he was a member of the hip hop group Fila Fresh Crew that disbanded in 1988. That’s when his solo career started. The D.O.C. released his first solo album No One Can Do It Better. All looked well until tragic car accident in the same year, that crushed his larynx, damaged vocal cords, and changed his voice forever. But after recovert, The D.O.C. returned. In 1996, he released Helter Skelter followed by Deuce in 2003.
His dating life is also an interesting story. Famous singer Erykah Badu is one of his ex-girlfriends. In 2004, she even gave birth to their daughter Puma Curry. However, the couple broke up later. The D.O.C.’s relationship status isn’t known as of 2015.
