Rocky Carroll was born on July 8th, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the famous School for Creative and Performing Arts in 1981. Than he attended The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis and graduated with a B.F.A. degree.
After that, he moved to New York City and performed in Shakespeare on Broadway series. In 1990, he was nominated for Broadway’s Tony Award as Best Actor for performance in August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson. In 1995, he played a supporting role in the thriller film Crimson Tide. And you could see him at few others films, such as The Ladies Man, The Great White Hype, and Yes Man.
