Pierce Brendan Brosnan, OBE (born 16 May 1953) can be an Irish actor, film producer and ecologist who after making comprehensive school at age 16, started training in commercial illustration. Then he went on to train for three years in the Drama Centre in London. Following a stage performing career he grew to popularity in the TV series Remington Steele (1982 87), which combined the genres of romantic comedy, play, and investigator procedural.
After Remington Steele, Brosnan appeared in movies like the Cold War spy film The Fourth Protocol (1987) as well as the comedy Mrs. Doubtfire (1993).
