Pierce Brendan Brosnan, OBE (born 16 May 1953) can be an Irish actor, film producer and ecologist who after making comprehensive school at age 16, started training in commercial illustration. Then he went on to train for three years in the Drama Centre in London. Following a stage performing career he grew to popularity in the TV series Remington Steele (1982 87), which combined the genres of romantic comedy, play, and investigator procedural.

After Remington Steele, Brosnan appeared in movies like the Cold War spy film The Fourth Protocol (1987) as well as the comedy Mrs. Doubtfire (1993). Early life

Brosnan was created in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland, the sole child of Thomas Brosnan, a father, and Could (nee Smith, produced circa 1934). He considers it his hometown and lived for 12 years in Navan, County Meath. Brosnan’s father left the family when Pierce was a baby. His mother transferred to London to work as a nurse, when he was four years of age. From that point on, he was mostly raised by his grandparents, Philip and Kathleen Smith. After their deaths, he dealt with the uncle and an aunt, but was later delivered to reside in a boarding house run with a girl named Eileen. He was taught at Elliott School, a state comprehensive school in south west London.

Youth was pretty one. I was raised in a tiny town. I never understood my dad. When I was an infant, he left and I was left within the care of my grandparents and my mother.
