Nisha Millet was born on 20th March 1982. She was born and raised up in the place of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She started with the training of being a swimmer when she was just 14 years old. She has won with almost more than 600 gold medals at state as well as national and international events. She has been as well honored up with the title of being the first Indian swimmer to qualify for the Olympics. She has set up her own Nisha Millet’s Swimming Academy around Bangalore which she is running these days. In the year 1991 she started to learn the swimming just as through the training under her father, Aubrey at the place of Shenoynagar Club, Chennai. By the year 1992 she hence won her first state level medal in 50m freestyle in the place of Chennai. By the year 1994 she rose to the fame when she won with the five freestyle gold medals at the Senior National Level. In the same year she grab up with the victory of the international medal at the Asian Age Group Championships in Hong Kong. In the year 1998 she was the one who represented India at the time of Asian Games. She has won with so many medals by appearing inside Afro-Asian Games and SAF Games.
