Public relations consultant and former The Apprentice star Nick Hewer is a very wealthy man. His estimated net worth is about £30 million ($46 million) as of 2015. His fortune originates from his job, media appearances, and various real estate investments. He also owns several collectible cars. Let’s take a closer look on his success.
Nick studied at exclusive Jesuit boarding school named Clongowes Wood College. His father was a senior partner at Hewer, Spriggs and Wilson. So the family was not poor but not exactly rich. When Nick achieved an opportunity to study law at Trinity College, Dublin, his parent couldn’t afford it.
Hewer started workind at PR company as a trainee, slowly made his way up in the corporate ladder, saving money, and eventually bought out the whole company from it’s owner. He later sold the business in 1998. He became friend of Lord Alan Sugar who chose him as one of his advisers on English version of The Apprentice. Hewer continued appearing on the show from 2005 til 2014. Today, you can still see him on Countdown.
He’s a passionate car collector. Hewer owns Jeep Willys from World War II, Renault 4L, and also very expensive Aston Martin DB7 with twelve cylinder engine. Nick once confided during interview, that he bought it after his son told him that his Porsche is “too sissy”. Hewer also bought luxurious houses in south-west France and in Northamptonshire, UK. He considers himself a spender but with age also thinks more and more about smart ways to invest his money.
