Kunal Nayyar Biography

Kunal Nayyar is an Indian actor. The Indian actor moved to the US in 1999 from India. He initially transferred to Portland, Oregon, to review business. He began performing in plays like a way of creating new friends. He took acting classes, as something to fall back on, however he went on to graduate with a degree in business from the University of Portland. Then he continued to obtain a master’s degree in fine arts from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Indian actor did some work for the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford, UK. Then he got his breakthrough role Within The Big Bang Theory (2007) in 2007, only annually after graduating.

Early life

Nayyar was created in London, England and increased in New Delhi, India. Nayyar joined St Columba’s College in New Delhi, where he played badminton for that school team.

In 1999, Nayyar transferred to the United States to continue a Bachelor of Science in Business (Money) in the University of Portland, Oregon. Focusing on his degree, he appeared in several school plays and began taking acting classes.

Nayyar determined to be a professional actor, after taking part in the American College Theater Festival. Then he joined Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he got a Master of Fine Arts in Performing.

Career

Nayyar found work doing plays and American television ads on the London stage, after graduating. He first got interest in the United States because of his role within the West Coast production of Rajiv Joseph’s 2006 perform Huck & Holden, where he impersonated an Indian exchange student dying to experience American culture before returning house.[4] In 2006, Nayyar joined up with Arun Das to compose the play Cotton Candy, which opened in New Delhi to favorable reviews.

Nayyar made a guest appearance about the CBS drama NCIS within the occurrence “Suspicion” (period 4, show 12), by which he performed Youssef Zidan, an Iraqi terrorist.

Nayyar’s representative motivated him to audition for the part and heard in an upcoming CBS pilot about a role for a scientist. This led to his cast in the situation comedy The Big Bang Theory, which he plays Rajesh Koothrappali to astrophysicist.

In 2011, he co-located the Honor to Geeks display with co star Simon Helberg in the comedy festival only for Laughs.

In Ice Age: Continental Drift, Nayyar voiced Gupta in the year 2012. The exact same year, he finished the shooting of his first movie Dr. Cabbie in Toronto, Canada. Bollywood actor Salman Khan is producing it.
