James Argent sometimes nicknamed Arg is an English television celebrity that became famous mostly through his appearance on The Only Way Is Essex. The series tracks lives of young and rich people living in Essex. It has format of so called “scripted reality”. Argent’s estimated net worth is £800,000 ($1.2 million) as of 2015.
Although he is certainly rich, media speculated that he’s in fact poorer than most other participants of TOWIE. And tabloids even brought news, that his personal company named James Argent Limited made only £603 in 2013 based on it’s tax records. But that can hardly mean that James is broke. The company could invest heavily or James simply took a vacation that year.
James was born 5 December 1987 in Waltham Forest, UK. He lives in Essex since his family moved there when he was only four years old. In 2010, Argent joined the cast of TOWIE together with his girlfriend Lydia Bright. In 2014, Argent failed the drug test and have to leave the show. However, he returned in 2015 after a visible weight loss.

James disclosed once that he cheated on Lydia with Amy Childs. They didn’t sleep together but they kissed and Sam Faiers caught them accidentally.
