He is the son of legendary known Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak. His step cousin in the Bollywood is actor Shahid Kapur. Imaad’s mother Ratna Pathak Shah and Shahid’s step mother Supriya Pathak are sisters. He is the nephew to Bollywood actors Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak. He is the grandson of the Bollywood actress Dina Pathak. He has one brother named as Vivaan Shah who is also an upcoming talented actor.Imaad made his acting debut in the year 2006 by the way of appearing in his father’s Yun Hota To Kya Hota.
