Eiji Tsuburaya Wiki and Biography Info-Eiji Tsuburaya was born on July 7 1901 in Sukagawa. He was the first son of Isamu and Sei Tsuburaya. Her mother died when he was just only three years. He has done his schooling from elementary school. At the age of 14; he graduated the equivalent of High School. In 1919, his first job in the film industry was as an assistant cinematographer at the Nippon Katsudou Shashin Kabushiki-Kaisha. After that he joined Shochiku Kyoto Studios which was a Japanese company for Kabuki. During his 50-year career, he worked on approximately 250 films in total which was a great achievement.
