Christopher was born June 5, 1951 in Rye, New York. He studied at Phillips Exeter Academy and Columbia University where he received a college degree in Primitive Art. While working other jobs, Kimball started taking cooking courses. Soon after that, he founded own Cook’s Magazine. Since he was short on money, he invited angel investor into his business. He eventually sold the magazine in 1989 and with lot of cash in his pocket, Christopher started another on. This one was called Cook’s Illustrated magazine. Today, he hosts America’s Test Kitchen and Cook’s Country. He also often appears on Rachael Ray and Today.
Kimball was married to his wife Adrienne from 1987 til 2012. But this affluent chef didn’t stay single for a long. He started dating Melissa Lee Baldino. They got married at the Memorial Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2013.
