He settled a lawsuit with Exxon Mobil. The big natural resources company had to pay $225 million in environmental damages but many critics stress out that it should be much higher sum. His own net worth is relatively high but it isn’t unique among people running for the president. For example Donald Trump would be much more under scrutiny for his stellar wealth.
