One of the richest and most famous rappers Kanye West was able to monetize nicely his success. According to Forbes, his 2014 income was incredible $30 million. His 2015 net worth is estimated to be approximately $130 million. He went a long way since his debut studio album named The College Dropout that he released in 2004. It was a decade full of surprises and money.
West grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and was by no means rich. At the age of 20, Kanye dropped out of college and pursued his dreams. He started as a producer but the real money and fame waited for him to turn rapping himself. But he has income from other businesses as well. West opened chain of Fatburger restaurants but this venture was unsuccessful and he was forced to close them. He also founded with his mother the Kanye West Foundation. Let’s name at least Alexis Phifer, Amber Rose, and Chanel Iman. Especially his relationship with Rose was highly followed by media and West said long after their split that “he had to take 30 showers before Kim would let him touch her”. Well, that’s really not nice way to treat a lady. We suggest more respect in the future.
