Divya Singh was born on 21st July 1982. She is famously known out to be the former captain of the Indian National Women’s Basketball Team. She was the part of the Indian women’s basketball team at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. She has been very much known because of her skills of being the leadership along with her academic excellence and personality. She has finished with her early education in the sports management at the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware, (UD) in the year 2008 to 2010. Then later on she has even worked out as being the assistant Women’s basketball coach for UD. She has worked upon out as being the assistant coach of the Under 16 Indian Men’s basketball team as they took part in the Vietnam 2011. She was even on the post of the assistant coach of the Indian Men’s team. At that time under her leadership India won with the bronze medal in Lusophony Games in Goa. She was even said to be the part of the Indian National Women’s Basketball Team as being the assistant coach in the 17th Asian Games Incheon in the year 2014.
