Lil Kesh was born as Keshinro Ololade on March 14th, 1995, in Bariga, Nigeria. Before he pursued his music career, he had interest in dancing. In 2012, Lil’s music career started. He became popular after he recorded his first single titled Lyrically in 2014. The single that quickly became popular in Nigerian Universities.
He was nominated in the Best New Act to Watch category at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2015. Lil is currently signed to YBNL Nation, which is a record label founded by Olamide. Trough them, Lil released song Shoki, which got him nominated in the Best Street-Hop Artiste category at The Headies 2014.
Lil ‘s style of music and versatility has been compared Olamide’s work who raps and sings in his local dialect.
