But after few years, his Husband eventually died in 1996.She then moved with her daughter to Sydney for a few years. She met the elderly Australian doctor Netaji Bhimaro Salunke in 2001 and married him after a quick courtship and a small temple wedding. After few years, they adopted an adorable daughter. On January 2009, Vidya Sinha filed a complaint with the police accusing Netaji Bhimrao Salunke of physical and mental torture. They were divorced soon afterwards and after a protracted battle she won her case against him.
