Lebron James Wife Kids and Family
In the world of basketball, some names reign high and one of such names is LeBron James. Many people claim to know King James, but the simple fact is that they only know him as the basketball player who strives to leave his mark in any NBA team he plays for. Currently playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, there’s more to King James than what we see on the hardwood floors. His personal life is filled with amazing people that inspire him to stay at the top of his game. In this post, you are going to find out more about LeBron James wife, kids and family.
LeBron James Wife
Behind every successful man is a woman. These are not my words, but a saying that has been in use since time immemorial and indeed it widely holds true for men around the world, including your favorite NBA star King LeBron James. This superstar is married to Savannah Brinson, his high school sweetheart. Although he proposed to her on 31, December 2011 at a party celebrating the New Year’s Eve of that year (this was also his 27th birthday party), they never tied the knot until September 14, 2013 in a colorful ceremony held in San Diego.
As previously mentioned, Brinson was LeBron’s high school sweetheart. They started dating when she was 16 years old and were together for 12 years before tying the knot. They have so far managed to have three children; two sons and one daughter. Brinson became pregnant with James’ first in the middle of their senior academic year of high school. She later put to birth on 4 October 2004.
Before they officially got hitched, they had another son. The coupled welcomed their first girl after their marriage bringing the tally to three. Unlike most Hollywood power couples, this duo have managed to keep their lives and relationship together, since high school. I bet you’d agree that this isn’t an easy feat to accomplish especially if you are a celebrity.
Brinson’s occupation is in the fashion industry. She, with the help of her husband started a campaign they referred to as the I PROMISE make over campaign in 2013 while they were still living in Miami. The campaign debuted in an event that was held at American Airlines Arena. The event brought together fifty at-risk high school senior girls from Miami Suburbs to make them ready for prom with dresses, make up tips as well as accessories. She confirms that LeBron is a big fan of the I PROMISE makeover campaign.
LeBron James Kids
As earlier mentioned, this superstar has three children born to him by his one and only wife. The first born is named LeBron James Jr. (alias Bronny). He was born on born October 6, 2004. The second born is Bryan Maximus James born on June 14, 2007. The third born, a beautiful daughter, Zhuri James was born on October 22, 2014.
The first born has taken after his father and is already showing signs of prowess in the game of basketball. He is dominating on the preps circuit and he has not missed a step from the moment he changed teams. LeBron James has not hidden the fact that he is not happy with his son’s recruitment by the NCAA as his son is just 10 years old. I bet you cannot suppress a talent when it starts to show up and the boy will definitely follow in his father’s footsteps.
The second born Bryce Maximus James is now 8 years old and already showing passion for the game. He loves chocolate, likes Michael Jackson’s Beat It’ and not surprisingly plays basketball. The last born, little Zhuri James is a star in making. We cannot be sure of her passions but it is only natural that she would borrow much from her mother, Savanna Brinson.
In summary, LeBron James has built a great career and a wonderful African American family. This is very unique compared to what we see in other celebrity relationships. His story has inspired so many people and will continue to do so. May be we will see both LeBron’s sons grow into even better basketball players than their father. We are also not sure whether the family will grow further but we are ready for any new development and we will deliver updates as they happen.
