Music career

2013: Early career

In July 2013 Jasmine Thompson launched a cover of Naughty Boy’s simple “La la La”. In August Jasmine released a cover of Taylor Swiftis simple “Everything Has Changed” like a duet with Gerald Ko, a cover of Traveler’s simple “Let Her Go” as well as a cover of David Guetta’s simple “Titanium”. In September 2013 she launched her launching record Bundle of Tantrums which contained the songs “La la La”, “Let Her Go” and “Titanium”.

2013-present: Breakthrough

In September 2013 launched a cover of Chaka Khanis “Ain’t Nobody”, the tune included within an advertisement for supermarket chain Sainsbury’s due to their by Sainsbury’s variety. The tune has peaked to number 32 on Scottish Singles Chart and the United Kingdom Singles Chart. In October 2013 she launched her first expanded play Underneath The Willow Tree. In early July, Aussie pop phenomenon Cody Simpson was supported by Thompson on his Acoustic Tour. She completed the Tour in Birmingham, thanking the fans on Twitter for their support and posting a picture of them. In the BBC fall trailer for EastEnders Thompson’s address of Everybody Hurts was found in September 2014. The trailer showed Linda Carter, Sharon Watts and Kat Moon repeating Thompson’s lyrics to characters.
